Dr. Sujatha completed her MBBS from Thanjavur Medical College (1989), Thanjavur, MD in Internal medicine from Madras Medical College (1997), Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes mellitus from Annamalai university (2004). She has contributed many chapters in A Manual of Practical Medicine by Prof. R.Alagappan, a widely read book for postgraduates. She has vast experience as a consultant physician managing complex medical problems with expertise in chronic medical care especially Diabetes Mellitus. She has been a senior consultant in the department of Preventive medicine Apollo Hospitals since 2005. She has served as a panel physician for Immigration Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea.
